This project focused on the often neglected consumer target that are not typical and average consumers, yet still have needs that could be fulfilled more effectively. Communication becomes more critical to both elder and children: who can have a difficulty in reading. Having elder and children as a primary target consumers for the new bandage brand, the brand focused on better and quick communication in the situation of emergency.

Soliderm protects everyone no matter who they are.

Brand Positioning:
Soliderm is the premium quality bandage brand, which communicates fast and easily to the customer in the situation of emergency. Since the product is designed with a simple illustrative
icon, anyone can clearly understand right away. Thus, the brand is user friendly, quick and thoughtful.

Packaging Design Objectives:
1. To provide a new packaging design for bandages brand that reaches the two minor target consumers. Position the product as “user friendly” bandages for them
2. Need to create a strong sense of uniqueness of the product with universal icons
3. Need to provide a strong differentiation according to materials of bandages, yet maintain a solid line look
4.Need to position “Soliderm” as a “user friendly” product that does not exclude children and elder groups.

Solid + derm
‘Derm’ means skin from the word ‘dermal’: Soliderm means bandages that act as a protective secondary skin. People will feel the bandages as a “real strong skin” where proud flesh has to come up for a wound.
